How to Put a 3D Heart in the Middle of Your Card
Hey friend! So guess what? I’m gonna tell ya how to make your card super special by putting a 3D heart in the middle. Like, do you even know how cool that is?! It’s like saying “I love you” but with a pop. Literally! And let’s make this so funny you’ll laugh while crafting.
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
First things first, you need stuff. Like paper, scissors, some glue (watch out for that stickiness!), and maybe some crayons or markers for decoration. I mean who doesn’t love scribbling, right? Also grab some cardboard or thick paper cause that’s gonna hold your 3D heart together.
Step 2: Make Your Card
Okay so fold a piece of paper in half like how you fold your pizza slice. But don’t eat it! That would be gross. This is gonna be the base of your card. Now, write something nice on the front like “You’re Awesome!” or “Happy Birthday!” or even “Get Well Soon!” if someone sneezed on ya.
Step 3: Time for the Heart
Now comes the fun part! Grab another piece of paper and draw a big heart on it. It can be as big as your face if you want! But don’t blame me if people can’t see your face after this! Cut it out carefully so it looks nice. Or just cut it like a toddler with scissors and own that chaos!
Step 4: Make It Pop
We want that heart to pop out like it’s surprised at a party! To do this, cut two strips of paper about an inch wide and fold them back-and-forth like an accordion. This is called a pop-up mechanism which is fancy talk for making things go BOOM…not really but kinda!
Step 5: Stick It Together
So now take those accordion strips and glue one end to the heart and the other end to the inside of your card where you wanna place that heart. Make sure it’s stuck good or it might flop around like my dog when he sees squirrels.
Step 6: Decorate Like A Boss
Here comes my favorite part — decorating! You can draw more hearts, stars, rainbows or even sprinkles if you’re feeling wild. Use those crayons and markers we talked about earlier but no eating them please! That would taste terrible.
Step 7: Show It Off
When you’re done making this masterpiece, show it to everyone like you just won an art award. They will probably say “Wow!” or “What is that?” Either way, slap yourself on the back because you’re officially a crafty genius.
